Safe Place for Animals could not provide all the services we do without the help of our wonderful staff of volunteers. We are always looking for good volunteers and have numerous volunteering opportunities. If you like to walk dogs, cuddle cats, update media centers, clean kennels, or simply help at events we have something for you to help with.
You can fill out the volunteer form and email it to safeplaceforanimal@att.net or drop it off at the shelter. Don't miss the opportunity to be part of a great team!

Streets of Indian Lakes in Hendersonville
We are looking for vendors, dog related entertainment like frisbee, agility, etc as well as silent auction items. If you are interested in being a vendor, showing off those doggie talents, or donating items for the event, please contact Heidi Foster at heidiannfoster@yahoo.com or download one of the forms attached and follow the instructions on the forms.
We will have great vendors, a silent auction, snacks, dog training, and the rockin tunes of Big Nose Kate!
It's a great day for dogs to bring their owners out for a day of fun! Don't miss out!
