Diana,
Rusty is settling in good. He is a little hyper in the morning when I get him
out of his crate but he calms down within minutes. He is doing better on a
leash, I bought a 20ft lease and he seems to like it better. He wouldn't eat
anything until Thursday around 4pm. We used his food as treats while training
him to sit and come and that seemed to stimulate his appetite. He loves to be
brushed and he really loved watching Dog U and the Dog Whisperer. The only time
he barks is when he can hear the neighbor’s dogs but he only barks a couple
times. He marked his territory all over the yard and once in the garage, but
when we brought him inside he did fine, he actually went to the door when he
needed to go out and while I was attaching his leash he had a small accident in
the garage but it was a good training experience for the kids. I will send
another email in a couple weeks to let you know how he is doing.
